A Dynamic Deck of Versatile Video Recording
Whether you’re working on multi-cam broadcasts, archiving content, digital signage, or need to connect and record with your computer, Blackmagic Design’s HyperDeck Studio HD Mini has you covered. Borrowing its formfactor from the Teranex Mini means the mis modular machine can fit multiple units within a single rack space, making for painless interoperative use. A powerful suite of connectivity options include 3G-SDI, BNC, HDMI, and more, allowing you to record video and audio into multiple formats, from SD to 1080p60. With two card slots and a USB-C port, this deck can easily record premiere HD video to your SD or SSD of choice. Video and broadcast experts at City Music agree that the HyperDeck Studio HD Mini is a perfect all-arounder for your high-quality recording needs!
Stylishly designed, fully accessible
The HyperDeck’s sleek formfactor doesn’t stop with its modular mounting potential. A vivid LCD display doubles as a monitor for your content, supporting both light and dark modes, flanked on either side by deck-style transport controls and a search dial. Two card slots allow for use of either SD or UHS-II cards, accommodating most forms of playback or recording, while the USB-C port lets you record or broadcast with your SSD, or use the HyperDeck like a webcam with your computer. Moreover, all front panel control inputs are sent to the rear RS-422 output to ensure painless, simultaneous use of multiple HyperDecks.
Keep the show going
HyperDeck’s dual-card slots mean two important things: for one, recording will automatically move from one card to the next, once the first is full. Two, you can ‘hot swap’ a full card for a new once without disrupting the recording in the other slot. BNC input and output ports for both reference and timecode make broadcast a breeze, with a 3G-SDI I/O and HDMI output enabling a comprehensive spectrum of recording and broadcasting. Video recording formats include H.264, ProRes, and DNxHD, while audio can be used as PCM or AAC, making the HyperDeck an ideal choice for master recording, ISO recording, digital signage, broadcast archiving, web-based streaming, and more!
