The Auro X15D’s drivers are specially designed to provide fast recovery with minimal distortion. The 1.34″ high-frequency compression driver is mounted to a 60 x 90-degree horn, which matches the larger dispersion angle of the low-frequency driver. Packed with Samson’s proprietary R.A.M.P. (Reactive Alignment/Maximum Protection) DSP technology, the Auro X15D delivers optimized audio performance. R.A.M.P. technology uses automatic EQ adjustments to overcome common issues that often plague traditional loudspeakers, such as masked high frequencies from horn reflections and muddy midrange from woofer surface reflections. On top of that, the Auro X15D’s crossover network uses Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters and transducer time alignment algorithms to provide you with superb frequency balance. Finally, the Auro X15D’s integrated overcurrent and temperature sensors keep it cool, eliminating the need for noisy fans.

Tweakable controls and dual-angle positioning for versatile performance

The Auro X15D’s dedicated 2-channel mixer provides you with a Mic/Line switch on Channel 1, Volume controls for each channel, and a Master Volume for controlling your overall output level, so you can plug in your mic and instrument (or any other line-level source) while maintaining perfect control over your levels.
