The Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3<\/strong> is a professional 1RU rack-mount audio monitoring solution designed for modern hybrid SDI and IP broadcast environments. This latest model features native 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 IP input<\/strong>, allowing direct monitoring of IP-based broadcast systems without the need for external converters.<\/p>\n

It supports 12G-SDI input<\/strong> for SD, HD, and Ultra HD video up to 2160p60, along with a reclocked SDI loop output for downstream routing. The unit also includes an HDMI 2.0 output<\/strong> for viewing SDI and IP video sources on external displays.<\/p>\n

Audio connectivity is highly versatile, with balanced analog XLR inputs, RCA HiFi inputs, AES\/EBU digital input, embedded SDI audio, and a professional headphone output. The built-in stereo monitoring system features a 2-way crossover with independent stereo subwoofers for accurate, full-range sound reproduction.<\/p>\n

The front panel includes a large, highly visible RGB LED audio meter with selectable ballistics (VU, PPM EBU, PPM BBC, or Loudness), along with a push-button interface and scroll wheel for fast input and channel selection, making this unit ideal for control rooms, master control, OB vans, and live production facilities.<\/p>\n
