The XLII delivers a slight presence boost compared to the XLS model, making it especially suited for lead vocals and solo instruments that need to stand out in a mix. Its impressive dynamic range of up to 152 dB allows accurate recording of both subtle nuances and extremely loud sources without distortion.
Three switchable bass cut filters and three pre-attenuation levels further expand its versatility across different recording environments. A Peak Hold LED warns of even the shortest overload peaks, while Lock Mode prevents accidental setting changes during live sound or installation use.
