The Allen & Heath GLD-AR0804 (AR84) is a compact remote AudioRack designed to expand the input and output capabilities of the Allen & Heath GLD digital mixing system.
Featuring 8 XLR microphone inputs with phantom power and 4 XLR outputs, the AR84 allows you to position I/O up to 120 metres away from the GLD mixer using a single Cat5 cable running Allen & Heath’s proprietary dSNAKE protocol.
dSNAKE provides full remote control of the mic preamps, including scene recall, making it ideal for distributed stage setups, larger venues, and flexible installation environments.
The AR84 is designed for simple, reliable connectivity using readily available Cat5 network cabling, reducing complexity while maintaining professional audio performance.
