The Audio-Technica ATDM-1012 Digital SmartMixer is a highly versatile DSP matrix mixer designed for professional installed audio environments requiring intelligent mixing, zone control, and exceptional speech clarity. Ideal for corporate meeting rooms, hospitality venues, education facilities, courtrooms, houses of worship, and conferencing systems, it delivers reliable performance with advanced processing in a compact 1U rack format.

This SmartMixer features a powerful 14-input / 12-bus full-matrix architecture, including ten high-quality mic/line inputs with discrete preamps, two stereo line inputs, USB audio I/O, eight balanced outputs, and two unbalanced stereo outputs. The system supports expansion via Audio-Technica LINK connections, enabling cascading of multiple ATDM units for larger installations.

Each input channel includes professional signal processing tools such as phase inversion, low-cut filtering, and a four-band parametric EQ for precise sound shaping. Signals can be routed to any of the twelve buses with independent level control, allowing flexible zone distribution and mix-minus operation for complex AV setups.

The SmartMixer technology provides four configurable mixing groups operating in gain-sharing or gating modes, ensuring consistent levels and excellent intelligibility when multiple microphones are active. Advanced DSP processing includes Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Noise Cancelling (NC), compressors/de-essers, and feedback suppression processors that can be freely assigned to inputs or outputs to maintain optimal audio quality.

Setup and control are straightforward via the front panel or the Web Remote Manager software, which allows full configuration, monitoring, and system management from a computer. Remote access over IP through a standard web browser further enhances flexibility for permanent installations.
