The Audio-Technica ATDM-1012DAN Digital SmartMixer is a powerful, network-ready DSP matrix mixer designed for professional installed audio systems where intelligent mixing, zone control, and crystal-clear speech are critical. Built around a 14-input / 12-bus full-matrix architecture, the ATDM-1012DAN provides ten high-quality mic/line inputs with discrete amplifiers, two stereo line inputs, USB audio I/O, eight balanced outputs, and two unbalanced stereo outputs. The Dante-enabled version supports additional digital inputs via Dante or Audio-Technica LINK connections, allowing seamless integration into modern networked AV systems.
Each input channel includes professional signal processing tools such as phase inversion, low-cut filtering, and a four-band parametric EQ for precise audio shaping. Signals can be routed to any of the twelve buses with independent volume control, enabling flexible zone-based audio distribution and mix-minus configurations.
The SmartMixer technology provides four configurable mixing groups operating in either gain-sharing or gating modes, ensuring consistent levels and excellent speech intelligibility when multiple microphones are active. Advanced DSP features include Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Noise Cancelling (NC), compressors/de-essers, and feedback suppression processors that can be assigned to inputs or outputs to maintain optimal clarity.
Configuration and operation are simple via the front panel or the intuitive Web Remote Manager software, which enables full system setup, monitoring, and control from a computer. The mixer can also be accessed remotely over IP through a standard web browser, offering convenient management for large installations.
