Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter
The Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter lets you extend and power your URSA Broadcast camera up to 2 km away using industry-standard SMPTE hybrid fiber cable. It converts camera video, audio, talkback, and control into a single optical link for reliable, low-latency live production.
The unit provides one Ultra HD camera feed plus three independent HD return feeds in a compact IP-based design. This makes it ideal for outside broadcast (OB), live events, studio productions, and large venue installations.
Built-in professional talkback support includes multiple headset connections with a three-way audio mixer per output, plus a dedicated tracker output. The converter also supports AES/Line/Mic audio with phantom power, making it suitable for broadcast and ENG workflows.
