The Shure TwinPlex™ TL47 is a professional subminiature lavalier microphone designed for theatre, film, broadcast, live TV, houses of worship, and corporate presentations where flexibility, durability, and natural sound are essential.

Built around a patent-pending dual-diaphragm design, the TL47 delivers twice the surface area of typical subminiature microphones, resulting in pristine, natural sound with robust low-frequency response and exceptional speech intelligibility.

Its improved off-axis consistency ensures accurate and stable audio reproduction even when performers move their head or change speaking positions—making it ideal for dynamic stage and broadcast environments.

With best-in-class low self-noise and wide dynamic range, the TL47 provides clean, detailed audio even in challenging acoustic conditions.

The microphone features interchangeable sweat- and moisture-resistant frequency caps coated with an invisible superhydrophobic nanoscopic layer to prevent “sweat-outs,” ensuring reliable performance throughout long shows.

The ultra-durable 1.6 mm paintable cable is immune to memory effect and kinks, making it easy to conceal in costumes, wigs, or skin. A dual redundant ground serves as a secondary shield for added durability and signal protection.

Available with multiple connector options—including LEMO, TA4F (MTQG), MicroDot, XLR/Preamp, and bare wire (NC)—the TL47 integrates seamlessly with most professional wireless bodypack transmitters.
