The Allen & Heath SQ-Rack is a powerful 48-channel, 96kHz rack-mount digital mixer designed for live sound, installation, broadcast, and professional touring applications. Built on the acclaimed XCVI FPGA core, it delivers ultra-low latency (<0.7ms), exceptional headroom, and studio-grade audio quality in a compact 4U form factor.
Featuring 16 onboard mic preamps, 3 stereo line inputs, and expandable SLink connectivity, SQ-Rack integrates seamlessly with Allen & Heath’s Everything I/O expanders, allowing up to 48 mic inputs in larger systems.
Despite its faderless design, SQ-Rack offers intuitive control via a 7” capacitive touchscreen, 8 assignable SoftKeys, and 4 soft rotaries with LCD displays. Full wireless control is available through SQ-MixPad and SQ-Control apps for iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
For recording, SQ-Rack includes SQ-Drive direct USB recording and a 32×32 96kHz USB interface (ASIO/Core Audio compliant), making it ideal for virtual soundchecks, multitrack capture, and DAW integration.
With 12 stereo mixes, advanced parametric and graphic EQ, powerful compressors, and 8 stereo FX engines, SQ-Rack is equally capable as a FOH console or a dedicated in-ear monitor mixer.
Designed for professional reliability, SQ-Rack features an all-metal chassis and flexible mounting options (flush, recessed, or freestanding). It is fully compatible with the ME Personal Mixing System, allowing artists to control their own monitor mixes via ME-1 or ME-500 personal mixers.
