The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is a modular, professional digital cinema camera designed for high-end film, broadcast, and production workflows. Featuring a 6048 x 4032 full-frame HDR sensor with built-in optical low-pass filter, it delivers exceptional image quality, natural color reproduction, and flexible post-production control using Blackmagic RAW.
With dual native ISO (400 and 3200), 13 stops of dynamic range, and dual CFexpress Type B recording, PYXIS 6K is built for demanding cinematic environments — from narrative filmmaking and commercials to documentaries and high-end live production.
The fixed active L-Mount provides compatibility with a wide range of professional full-frame lenses and adapters, making this camera suitable for gimbals, drones, studio rigs, and broadcast setups.
Designed with a customizable modular body, PYXIS 6K supports interchangeable side plates, external accessories, professional 12G-SDI output, USB-C recording, and network-based media access via Ethernet. This makes it ideal for collaborative workflows and multi-operator productions.
