The Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF Body is a flagship large-format digital cinema camera designed for high-end film, broadcast, and premium production workflows. Featuring a new 36 x 24mm RGBW large-format sensor with larger photosites, it delivers exceptional image fidelity, natural color science, and an extraordinary 16 stops of dynamic range.
This Body model is ideal for professionals who already own cinema accessories and want to build a fully customized camera rig. It excludes the top handle, baseplate, power supply, battery plate, and PL mount — but includes an interchangeable EF lens mount, a dedicated assist station with a second 5″ HDR touchscreen, built-in IR ND filters, and industry-standard Lemo and Fischer power/control connectors.
With dual CFexpress recording via the included Blackmagic Media Module CF, 10G Ethernet, and built-in WiFi, URSA Cine 12K LF supports ultra-fast media offload, remote camera control, and seamless cloud synchronization with Blackmagic Cloud.
Designed for elite cinema workflows, the URSA Cine 12K LF provides advanced high-speed recording (up to 224 fps in selected modes), professional SDI connectivity up to 12G, integrated monitoring, and powerful Blackmagic RAW capture — making it perfect for feature films, commercials, high-end documentaries, and premium live productions.
