The Blackmagic Video Assist 7” 12G HDR adds professional monitoring and recording to any SDI or HDMI camera across all HD, Ultra HD, 2K and 4K DCI formats. Its ultra-bright 2500-nit 7-inch HDR display supports 3D LUTs and includes professional scopes, powerful focus assist, and exposure tools to help you achieve accurate framing, focus, and exposure on set.

Dual built-in UHS-II SD card recorders allow you to record directly from any camera in 10-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes or DNx formats, so footage is ready for immediate editing without transcoding. For higher-end workflows, it also supports Blackmagic RAW recording from compatible cameras.

Two balanced mini XLR inputs with 48V phantom power deliver clean, professional audio with a low noise floor of -128dBV. Combined with 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a connectivity, this makes Video Assist 7” 12G HDR ideal for filmmakers, broadcast crews, live production teams, and content creators who need reliable monitoring and recording in one portable device.
