Electro-Voice EKX-12 is a professional passive 12-inch PA loudspeaker designed for live sound reinforcement in portable and installed applications. Combining high output, reliable performance, and rugged construction, the EKX-12 is ideal for bands, DJs, houses of worship, and mid-size venues.

The loudspeaker delivers up to 131 dB peak SPL using high-sensitivity transducers engineered by Electro-Voice. A 12-inch EVS-12M woofer and a DH-1M titanium compression driver provide clear full-range sound with excellent intelligibility and punch. The EV-patented Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide ensures consistent coverage and smooth acoustic performance.

With a nominal dispersion of 90° × 60°, the EKX-12 provides balanced audience coverage, while the cabinet’s 40° monitor angle allows use as a stage wedge. The enclosure is constructed from durable 15 mm plywood with internal bracing and finished with tough EVCoat for long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Installation and portability are enhanced with eight M10 threaded suspension points, aluminum pole mounts, and robust metal handles. Dual NL4 connectors enable flexible system wiring for professional setups.
