Electro-Voice LRC-1100 Passive Column Loudspeaker (1 m) is a compact line radiator column designed for professional installation applications where clarity, controlled coverage, and durability are essential. With its slim profile and neutral industrial design, the LRC-1100 blends seamlessly into architectural environments while delivering high-performance sound for speech and music.
The loudspeaker features twelve 2.5-inch full-range drivers coupled with proprietary PaSS phase plugs to produce a narrow vertical dispersion and strong low-frequency extension. Users can select between 20° or 40° vertical coverage, combined with a built-in 5° downward acoustic bias to focus sound toward listeners and improve intelligibility.
Designed for distributed audio systems, the LRC-1100 includes a pre-installed transformer for 70 V or 100 V line operation. Electro-Voice’s patented Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC) technology maintains low-frequency performance and protects system electronics even when multiple speakers are connected to the line.
Built for demanding environments, the loudspeaker is weatherized for full outdoor exposure and carries EN54-24 certification for voice alarm systems. Installation is simplified with the included SwifTilt multi-angle pan-tilt bracket, allowing precise aiming while keeping the column close to the mounting surface. Additional suspension points provide flexible rigging options.
The LRC-1100 delivers optimal performance when used with recommended high-pass filtering and compatible DSP processors, making it suitable for a wide range of installations including houses of worship, transportation hubs, stadium concourses, retail spaces, and public facilities.
