The JBL Control 2P (Model C2PS) is a powered stereo reference speaker system designed for professional monitoring and multimedia applications. Ideal for recording studios, video production, AV presentations, and electronic music monitoring, the Control 2P delivers accurate sound with rich, controlled bass and clear high-frequency detail.
Each speaker features studio-quality transducers driven by a 35-watt per-channel amplifier, capable of delivering up to 115 dB maximum SPL per pair. With balanced XLR, 1/4” TRS, and unbalanced RCA inputs, the Control 2P integrates easily with mixers, audio interfaces, computers, and playback devices.
For flexible desktop use, the speakers include snap-on pedestals to optimize listening angle, along with a side-mounted ergonomic volume control that adjusts both speakers simultaneously. A dedicated high-frequency contour control allows users to fine-tune treble response for different rooms and applications.
Built for reliability, the Control 2P includes an internal peak limiter and overload protection circuit, while magnetically shielded transducers make it safe for use near CRT monitors and sensitive equipment. Optional MTC-2P mounting brackets enable wall installation for permanent setups.
