The KRK Systems 12sHO 12″ Powered Studio Subwoofer (HO for “High Output”) is engineered to deliver powerful, accurate low-frequency reproduction for professional near-field and surround monitoring systems. Designed to complement large studio monitors, the 12sHO provides exceptional bass extension and high SPL performance for demanding mix environments.
Featuring a 12” woven Kevlar® high-performance woofer housed in a front-loaded, vented enclosure, the 12sHO delivers deep, controlled low-end response with outstanding clarity. Whether used in stereo or surround setups, it accurately reproduces low-frequency detail as well as the demanding LFE channel content required in film, broadcast, and immersive audio production.
A robust Class A/B amplifier provides 400 watts of continuous power, ensuring tight transient response and consistent performance at high output levels. With a maximum peak SPL of 123 dB, the 12sHO is built to handle professional mixing sessions that require substantial headroom and impact.
Flexible connectivity includes balanced XLR inputs and outputs for left and right channels, plus a dedicated balanced XLR LFE input. A footswitch-controlled high-pass filter bypass (footswitch included) allows quick comparison between full-range and sub-assisted monitoring. Built with reinforced MDF construction and textured paint finish, the 12sHO is designed for durability in professional studio environments.
