The Shure MXW6X Boundary Transmitter is a low-profile wireless tabletop microphone designed for professional meetings, conferences, classrooms, and hybrid collaboration spaces when paired with Microflex® Wireless neXt systems.

Available with either a cardioid (MXW6X/C) or omnidirectional (MXW6X/O) microphone element, the MXW6X offers flexible placement on tables or desktops in front of one or multiple talkers while maintaining clear, natural speech capture.

Powered by the included SB906 lithium-ion battery, the MXW6X delivers up to 17 hours of continuous operation and supports fast recharging via compatible Shure charging stations.

The transmitter features an intelligent programmable mute button that can be configured for push-to-talk, push-to-mute, or push-on/push-off modes. It can also be remotely controlled by room automation systems for seamless integration in corporate and educational environments.

For reliable performance, the MXW6X includes adjustable transmit power for coverage up to 160 feet (50 meters), plus always-on AES-256 encryption to protect sensitive meeting audio.

An integrated earphone jack allows users to monitor translation, cueing, or program audio, while the information screen displays battery life, room assignment, and system status at a glance.
