The Shure TwinPlex™ TH53 combines the natural, high-fidelity sound of the TwinPlex capsule with a lightweight, fully adjustable professional headset frame. Designed for theatre, broadcast, live performance, and speech applications, the TH53 delivers exceptional audio clarity while remaining comfortable and discreet for long-wear use.

At the heart of the TH53 is Shure’s patent-pending dual-diaphragm capsule, which provides twice the surface area of traditional subminiature microphones. This results in a more natural tonal response, improved low-frequency reproduction, and superior off-axis consistency—ensuring clear, stable sound even when the performer moves.

The headset features an innovative clutch system that allows fast and precise adjustment of boom arm length and pitch with a simple turn of a knob. This enables quick fitting on different users while maintaining optimal microphone placement.

Built for demanding professional environments, the TH53 includes interchangeable sweat- and moisture-resistant frequency caps with a superhydrophobic coating to prevent “sweat-outs.” The durable 1.6 mm paintable cable is resistant to kinks and memory effect, with a dual redundant ground that enhances shielding and longevity.

Available in Tan, Cocoa, and Black, and compatible with multiple professional connectors—including LEMO, TA4F (MTQG), MicroDot, and bare wire (NC)—the TH53 integrates seamlessly with most wireless bodypack transmitters.
