The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is a powerful and ultra-portable 12-channel digital podcast and music mixer built for musicians, podcasters, and content creators who need professional features in a compact format. Combining flexible I/O, multitrack recording, battery power, and advanced DSP, the L6max serves as an all-in-one command center for recording, mixing, and producing.

The mixer features 4 combo XLR/TRS inputs (including 2 Hi-Z inputs) and 8 line-level inputs, providing ample connectivity for solo performers, small bands, electronic rigs, and podcast setups. Channels 5–8 include a -20 dB Pad switch, allowing you to safely connect hotter sources such as vintage synths or Eurorack modules. Two headphone outputs with customizable monitor mixes ensure precise personal monitoring.

With its built-in 14-track recorder, the L6max captures 12 individual tracks plus a stereo mix directly to microSD. Dedicated track bouncing frees up channels for additional overdubs, while 32-bit float A/D conversion on channels 1–4 safeguards against clipping across extreme dynamics.

Advanced DSP includes AI-powered noise reduction, a 3-band EQ on every channel, a master bus compressor, and onboard reverb, delay, and echo effects. The L6max also functions as a 12-in / 4-out USB audio interface with simultaneous DAW and SD recording, and it doubles as a DAW control surface for streamlined workflows.
